Travel vaccines

You may need travel vaccines depending on the country that you intend to visit. As soon as you have booked your trip, please come to reception to request a patient travel questionnaire. This will be handed to the practice nurse who can inform you which vaccines are required.

Completed questionnaires should be returned 8 weeks in advance of any travel as some vaccines must be given over several weeks. If you have booked last minute travel we may still be able to provide you with travel advice, but please be aware that we may not be able to provide all vaccines in a short time frame. If we cannot fit you in for an appointment, you should call your local private travel clinic.

If you are travelling abroad, please complete our Travel Risk Assessment form online.

Go2Physio

You may be able to access NHS physiotherapy without having to see your GP first. Physiotherapists are physical activity specialists working with you to enable you to manage your condition. They are expertly skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with musculoskeletal conditions much in the same way as doctors.

Musculoskeletal conditions such as muscle or joint problems like back pain, knee pain or sprains are best managed by physiotherapists. Physiotherapists can transform people’s lives by:

  • Reducing pain
  • Improving quality of life
  • Keeping people out of hospital
  • Reducing disability
  • Reversing the deterioration of conditions

Visit www.srft.nhs.uk/go2physio to complete the self-referral form to access go2physio clinics, provided by NHS physiotherapists.
